About Holt Howard: Holt Howard was founded by brothers Robert & John Howard and friend Grant Holt in 1949. The company’s focus was whimsical & kitschy decorative objects. Holt Howard opened a showroom in Manhattan in the 1950’s. The company was later purchased by two different companies; initially in 1968 and again in 1974. Production of the Holt Howard line ceased in 1990.
