Condition: Circulated, Vintage Good w/ normal signs of age & circulation to surface. Some signs of toning on the reverse. Medium brass color. The Obverse features a shield divided into three parts. A Cornucopia on the bottom, a Vicuña (Llama) in the top left and a small tree in the top right. Above the shield there is a Wreath with plants on either side. On the Reverse the words “PAGARA AL PORTADOR” (Pay to the carrier/ holder) ,“UN SOL DE ORO” (The denomination of the coin), “EL BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERU” (The Central Reserve Bank of Peru) and “1946” ( date the coin was minted).
