Minor to normal signs of age to exterior & interior surface, minor tarnish, minor surface flaws, minor denting & light scratches consistent with use & age. Exterior has been lightly polished, the interior has not. Monogram in upper left corner on the front's exterior. 14k Gold inlay stripes on the front's exterior and gold details on the interior. Push Button opening in great working condition. "Sterling Silver", Makers Hallmark "CA within a V" & "14K", and "90" marked on the interior frame. Interior has 3 sections (2 for storage of small items like coins or pills) and 1 section has a mirror/ compact that can be opened and flipped down, revealing the reverse. The reverse side holds a small silver pencil and a reusable removable pad surface. Clarence A. Vanderbilt (New York, NY) was a Silversmith producing fine silver pieces in Manhattan Circa 1891-1935.
